[Action Item] CEAG Collects Supplies for Back To School 2020
The CEAG (Collingswood Educational Advocacy Group) is organizing a supplies drive of the district in Collingswood, NJ. During the School Reopening Community Forum Dr. Oswald shared there is a possibility that we may not have enough supplies when schools reopen. This is because of current demand on PPE (personal protective equipment, like masks) and sanitizing materials (cleaning wipes, antibacterial hand cleaners) to have these important supplies available for our Faculty, Students, and Staff.
The bulk orders had been placed, with materials expected to come in during the coming weeks, but some suppliers have been delaying or canceling orders based on their distribution availability.
How It Will Work
We are hoping to have enough so that students who need a mask or some antibacterial gel will have it on day one back in the building. The CEAG will be accepting items listed on our Amazon Wishlist and supplies will be dropped off at the District’s main office for distribution. Neighbors wishing to purchase supplies like disposable masks, cleaning wipes, and antibacterial hand gel from local stores may reach out to us via our Contact Us page to arrange a drop-off or local pickup.
